When should a Claim be registered? [back to top]

Unitholders of SWEF LP should begin the registration process immediately, even if they are not in receipt of the Notice of Reassessment, from federal or, for Quebec residents, Quebec tax authorities.

As no interest will be paid on the amount of the reassessment, Claims should be completed immediately on receipt of the Notice of Reassessment.

What is a Notice of Reassessment? When will it be available? [back to top]

In connection with the sale of substantially all of the assets of Terrawinds Resources Corp., Unitholders of SWEF LP are entitled to be indemnified for the amount of the reassessment arising from Terrawinds' reduction of the amount of CEE previously made available to Unitholders in respect of the 2005 taxation year.

The amount of this reassessment will be determined by Canada Revenue Agency who will issue a Notice of Reassessment to each Unitholder. Unitholders who are residents of the Province of Quebec will also receive a Notice of Reassessment from Revenue Quebec.

At this time, we do not know when the Notice of Reassessment will be issued to Unitholders. However, additional information may be available to Unitholders who contact the taxing authorities directly.
